The first EP from cosmopolitan producer Baltimore Chop. He remembers how the work was with EP “Resample your mind”. He played some chords on the synthesizer and made resampling, then one more time resampling, added an effect and made it 5 more times! And when session was closed, name of EP came by itself in his head. Resample your mind.
Baltimore Chop is in love with old school house(Chicago/Detroit). He remember, that he was listening to Theo Parrish for a long time. Then he started to discover more underground European and American house.
Baltimore Chop is an ardent guitarist and remains a huge blues fan. He feels a straight connection of afroamerican blues/soul/funk influence on disco and then on house and hip-hop. It's the same line for him. That's why he couldn't miss that sample from track “Chicago”. Fieldfunk Records fully supports track “Sofa Dreaming”. This track differs from others, it has specialty. It's like you can feel mix of styles and chill in the end. Generally during music creation Baltimore Chop samples a lot and chops it. In this way half of name was created. Also you can find him watching baseball(in the childhood he played in baseball Russian team). And who knows baseball, knows what Baltimore Chop is!
